So if balance is a problem for you, what can you do to improve it?
Well, there are some very simple strategies you can work on:
- Make sure your posture is correct, and your centre of gravity in the right place.
- Some simple stretching done regularly will help with tight muscles – often the hip flexors, obliques and neck are major culprits.
- Strengthen your weak areas – typically the core, hips, feet and ankles.
- Start doing some visual and vestibular exercises to build up tolerance for spinning.
